Back in 2007, Phil & Shannon Adair couldn’t find a Family Hair Salon that catered for their young son, Nash. When not finding a salon that would look after the whole families hair needs, they began to recognise a great business opportunity.

 

Each salon they visited, they either found stylists not wanting to deal with wiggling, squirming kids, or more commonly - little or no interest in catering towards the family unit… In other words, there was nothing very exciting or innovative about taking the kids to get their haircut!

 

Phil & Shannon knew there had to be a better way, so that kids would be captivated rather than tearful, and parents would be fascinated watching their little ones get their locks tended too.

 

Even before launching their first Kidz Lidz Salon in 2007, Phil & Shannon knew they wanted to create a brand that would be synonymous with quality family hair care, surrounded within a welcoming and entertaining environment.

 

After two years of extensive research and planning, the first Kidz Lidz Salon opened in Randwick, Sydney to rave reviews.
