For single salon owners we do not require you to work full-time in the salon, however, we highly encourage it. Any business you own will be more successful with your involvement in the day-to-day operations.
Answer: Generally staff required will be a minimum of three people on any given day. A roster will be prepared and staff will be acquired and trained as the business gathers momentum. Our hours are Mon-Sat 9-6pm.
Answer: We cannot predict how much you will make as we don’t know how hard you will work, how closely you will follow the systems, etc. Our franchise disclosure document has a section that may help you predict what your revenues and expenses might be if you opened your own Kidz Lidz Salon.
Answer: Yes, Kidz Lidz staff all wear uniforms that carry the Kidz Lidz Logo. There have been variations on our uniforms over the years as we like to keep freshening our look for our customers. The latest ones look fantastic and professional.

The operation manual is a guide, though much of its content has been written from actual situations that have led to Kidz Lidz becoming so successful. The answer is no! You can if you want to – that is an owner/manager model. The other is the absentee owner model where you hire a manager to run your stores and you keep your day job. We have gone to great lengths to develop systems that help you accomplish this.
We train our operators using our confidential operations guide that was developed over many years using input from many years of trial and error and employees. Your entire staff must be trained before opening to insure quality in operations and customer service.
From the first day you sign your franchise agreement, we begin training you. You will be trained here in Sydney, which will include operating a location, fine tuning and learning the skills taught in a fully working Kidz Lidz Salon.
This training is required for owners and managers, and may include other employees if they are available. We offer on-site training after opening that may need to include stylist and management.
Included with the training are operations manuals that can be used at your salon for continuing and updated training that may be required in the future.
